An English abstract (p.113) informs us that this book is a revision of her doctoral thesis approved by the University of London in 1958. She delayed publication hoping that new fragmentsof 'Samia' from the Bodmer codex would be published. Though that hope failed, she has made diligent use of 'Dyskolos' and other recent publications. (...) Her revised text (pp.91-105) follows the commentary and is followed by an 'Index locorum' (pp.100-102). (...) Mrs. Dedoussi has followed the text of Koerte-Thierfelder except in a few places.
